Roofing service area pages all look alike and do nothing
This is for roofing company owners whose service area pages all say the same thing.
I added a page for every town my roofing company works in. Each one was the same page with just the town name changed. Google ignored them, or treated them as copies. Now I have pages that do nothing. I need those pages to bring in roof work, not sit there.
You put up a page for each town you serve. The text is the same except for the town name. Google sees near-identical pages and picks one, or none. Roofing makes this worse because a roof replacement is mostly the same job in every town. But the questions homeowners ask change by area. Hail, snow, roof pitch, and local codes differ. A page that skips those details looks like a copy.
This is not a quick find-and-replace job. Each page needs its own words about roof work in that town, what homeowners there ask, and reviews from nearby jobs. The job gets bigger with more towns and more services. If you already have good photos and reviews, that makes the job smaller. It also depends on what your site has now. A clean site with clear services makes the work simpler. Pages with local details are more work, which is why most sites do not do it.
Pick the town where you already have the most jobs. Write that page first. Include what a roof replacement or repair involves there, what homeowners ask, and reviews from nearby work. Do not copy that page and swap the town name for the next one. Forget Leads can do this for every town and every roofing service you offer. If you already have a site, ask for a check of what is missing and new ranking pages added inside it.
Each town page is its own page. Google can tell them apart and shows them for local searches. Homeowners in each town find a page that answers their question. That turns into calls from your own site, not leads you share with another roofer. Your service area pages finally do a job instead of sitting there. You get found for local roof searches.

A service area page that ranks is one town, one service, written for that town, with your photos and nearest reviews, structured data naming the area, and links to the related service and question pages. We write each one individually for every town you serve.
areas we serve page design
Keep the list page as a hub, and give every town its own page with a page per service inside it. Each one carries the town in the title, plain copy about that service there, and structured data for the area. We build the full set and add a town when you add one.
